Treasure Valley Boy Scout Camp Clean-up

When word of the devastation that last winter's ice storm created at Treasure Valley Boy Scout Camp in Rutland began circulating, it became obvious that something needed to be done.

Ahearn Equipment sprang into action by calling on our friends in the landscaping industry to lend a hand.  More than 70 local landscapers and builders responded by donating their equipment, supplies, and more impressively, their time to help clean up the damage caused by the storm.

On Saturday, March 14, Ahearn Equipment along with their army of volunteers cut up fallen trees, gathered branches, chipped wood, and created firewood for campers.  While work at the camp still remains, this day ensured that Treasure Valley would be able to open this summer and once again be able to serve Boy Scouts from all over the area.
